Teaching children with disabilities to move can be difficult if they don't have the orientation skills and postural strength to locomote. This pre-recorded 15-hour workshop focuses on establishing different physical equilibria and oscillatory flow techniques to prepare a child to move. Participants will learn how to safely place and support a child in various equilibrium positions (sitting, four-point, standing) while introducing simple oscillation techniques to stimulate and engage muscles. These preparatory techniques are essential for children who have not had much weight-bearing experience in life.
Purchase of this workshop will also give access to our vibrant WhatsApp online community. Share videos and experiences with other parents, and get direct guidance on how to work with your child from ASP Founder Yuji Oka.
