Service Description

Teaching a child with disabilities their first locomotive skills can supercharge their motivation and understanding of the purpose of their bodies. This workshop will focus on establishing locomotion skills in your child—it builds on all the knowledge in the previous modules to give children the best opportunity to reach their motor potential. Participants will get to observe many case studies of children who were able to overcome severe challenges in order to locomote. They will be encouraged and guided through lesson planning to achieve similar results at home! To serve international students, this online course is available at two different time slots: Morning — 8:30am - 11:30am EST (GMT-5) Evening — 6:00pm - 9:00pm EST (GMT-5) Please check your own timezone to choose the best slot for you! *After the workshop, participants will have access to an online resource (including sample lesson plans, tips and teaching aids) and a community forum to creatively maintain their disability interventions.
