Adapted Spiral Praxis Certification
Work with Children with Special Needs and Physical Disabilities
Inaugural Training Begins October 19th, 2020 (Updated)
Become certified to teach the Spiral Movement Center’s world class gross motor curricula to children with special needs and disabilities! The key to ASP programs lies in their simplicity and deep commitment to a child's inner experience during therapy. There are no difficult conceptual frameworks or complex knowledge needed—you will simply learn down-to-earth, experiential activities which can help your child grow and thrive. Practitioners of ASP are also empowered to use their creativity and intuition by avoiding unnecessary technical jargon and details in their practice. Both certification programs are designed to give practical, effective techniques that can be used both at home and in clinical situations.

The ASP certification program is geared primarily geared towards parents and caregivers of children with special needs and disabilities who can choose modules independently. However the program has been updated so that professional students can gain a certificate to teach ASP upon completion of the 4 first year modules. Advanced level two certification — involving a 2nd year of mentoring/study — allows practitioners to train, certify and teach the ASP program to other families and professionals.

In additon to the modules, all participants of the program will be invited to monthly meetups as well as have access to our online Whatsapp group. Active and subscription member will have access to our growing online web portal which will include digital tools to help participants plan and document lesson plans, upload milestone videos, and explore an extensive library of video tutorials and teaching materials.
